Alright, tenative schedule for next weekend:
January 7th, Friday
I should have this patch finished by then, which should bring the last of this round of balance patches in as well as quite a bit of new content.
January 8th, preliminary testing
I would like EVERYONE to log on either january 8th or 9th, preferably both if you can, whenever you can, and go test out your favorite parts of the game. Crafting, hunting, pvp, whatever. I'll be having some extra monitoring routines running that day gathering a lot more data than usual to give me feedback, in addition to trying to be on most of it to talk with you guys
January 9th, theory builds
This is a new one.
For those wanting to participate, i will create new accounts for you to use for this day only, and on these accounts will give you several characters to design to your wishes, so you can test out a combination without ruining your current build or character slots. (no vampires/necromancers/frostelves, but other than that, any combination is fair game, yes that means dark elves.)
This will mostly be pvp testing but i will also do a few monster runs.
Anyone who participates ACTIVELY and for a decent period of time in these two days will be rewarded.
Again these are tenative, i can't be sure until it's nearer to the weekend, but it's as set in stone as i can make it. Even if for some ungodly reason i can't make it, the friday patch should still go in and you all shoudl still login and see how the game is with everyone on.
Monday we WILL start recruitment, come hell or high water (unless the friday patch doesn't go in due to bob getting hospitalized or something).

hmm and what have you done for the shrad todd? And would you give up what little free time you had for ungrateful people like your self? 10 years to late i think not obsidian is like a fine wine just gets better with time. Sure we have had our bumps in the road but i really feel if we would all hang in there and trust bob and other staff it will be great once again.
