It's October.....and you know what that means:
HALLOWEEN MADNESS!
So whip out those old costumes and parade around town in them while enjoying the decorations.
We'll be having a big halloween event that will run from the 30th of Oct til the end of the 31st - so be sure to stay tuned for more details on that.
Just a quick update to let you all know what's happening: The changelog has a few building changes to to the world in it, Race halls will hopefully be coming soon, Monthly pvp contests will be scheduled (provided someone can find me a good clock/time keeping system to use on the forums) AND there is a minor quest in the works.
There have been a lot of crafters around building up their stockpiles, Pks have dropped to almost 0 and raptor is now on the run from the "corrupt fbi staff".
I hope you are all looking forward to a month of halloween-themed fun!

Lol cannot blame it on us. Alot of us atleast the people i play with check server status daily and we will only get on if we see a staff member or several players on. soooo.....your theory is that there was a ton of ppl all waiting to see if other ppl were going to be on? but then would not get on becuase noone else was on? that seems to be an old story here!

I posted a suitable time system on the staff forums in June 2010, so I've dug it out for you here:

I also found a FANTASTIC tool for planning events that lets you work out what times will be across various time zones. This way we won't end up with too many events being ran at 4AM in the US and wonder why few players turn up
For instance, Saturday, 26 June 2010, 23:00:00 (UTC) is Sun 09:00 (Sydney) and Sat 18:00 (Chicago)

You'll probably want to pick a time that is convenient for you and 6-11pm for American players (or during the weekend) where possible.
