i need this to make instruments like the lute, lap harp and standing harp...anyone have any clue where to find it or how to make it?

Guessing it has something to do with either the smithing or tinkering skill?

not smithing or tinkering or any combination of the two tried both in less it takes more then 50 iron, but I was under the impression that everything was showing now even if you did not have the items in your bag... I am GM smithing and Tinkering Iron wire was not an option in anything for me, BUT there was nothing listed in my instruments tab of my tinkering skill. So its possible that I need to have Musicianship as well to make this...

what do you mean ..it takes more than 50 iron?..and yeah you need 65 musicianship to get all the instuments...im gm musicianship, gm tink, gm blacksmith, and almost gm tailoring on that char and i dont see it anywhere.

i have a locksmith and have never seen it in the chests so unless loot was switched around in the last year is not there. I also tried on loom and spinning wheel and nothing.

You should be able to make it with 1 iron ingot. The skills used are Tinkering and Musicianship I believe.
