 Post subject: Crashing

Well I had to wipe my harddrive clean, so had to re-download obsidian. When i double click my obsidian icon it starts to open up but then i get a error and it crashes. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling ad ive upgraded my .new framework to 3.5.
Any ideas or help plox?
I have xp on my pc.

Are you sure you have the right link to the right client? Because even when i did get an error message it looked nothing like that.

Well ive tried everything possible.
Ive downloaded .net framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5
I had windows xp sp2 on and it wouldnt work so I put sp3 on.
Ive reformatted my hard drive and everything!!
Uninstalled and Re-Installed obs like 139082173467846 times.
Ive sat at this dam pc from 11am this morning and its now 22.10 and i still cant get on :(

hmm maybe a software app just doesnt agree with obsi... try installing obsi off a fresh instal (after updated and stuff)
if your willing to format again.. which owuld suck just for obsi but..

Well i tried everything i could think of.
So i ended up reformatting AGAIN but installing Vista this time.
Now i can play. :D BUT I hate vista :(

thats alot of money down on operating systems.. jeeze what is it 50 for 2 keys of windows + w,e it is for vistea.. ouch...
u can easily crack it tho.. but thats anther matter

Ha, mine doesn't even get that far on the work computer I used to play from. Re-installing Windows 2000 isn't an option for me, but I've re-installed the game like 3 times, the registry entries all check out, but the game refuses to start.

However running another Ultima Online client besides Obsidian does just fine... asked GMbob about it, he's as clueless as me lol
