Races and Classes currently will work as follows:


Humans will have 680 skillcap.
They will be able to GM all skills and are proficient in all armor/weapons.

Other races will have 780 skillcap.
They will be required to pick a class, which will determine what skills they cannot gm, as well as what
weapons they cannot use, and what armor they are not proficient in.
All races will be completely redone, in terms of racial abilities through race stones. Race stones will be disabled until the new abilities for each race are implemented.

At a future point, a method of changing classes will be added into the game.
This allows players to start on one of the more familiar classes to get the character built up
and then switch into their more specialized class later.
Or even if they just would like a change of pace
Some skills will find a benefit from such cross-classing.
For example: a smith cannot natively use swords, but would make
better swords after having learned swordsmanship as a warrior.

You can wear any armor, however if you are not proficient in the armor then you will take stamina penalties during most actions.
You cannot wield weapons you are not proficient in.

Magic casting fail rate:
Heavy Armor - 30%
Medium Armor - 15%
Light Armor - 5%
