I was thinking maybe we can get rid of magic armor drops... So far today all my drops have been magic armor, and i dont think 1 player on the shard enjoys it when they hear the sound and find out its armor thats worthless and does nothing. Im just a little confused, what is the point of this magic armor anyways when we can just make armor that way better. I think it should just be removed completely or have some special bonus's like maybe +1 str or somthing for each piece so when we get it, its good and we cant make armor with those bonus's

Yeah they are totally useless lol, i agree either take them out or add a bonus to it so its worthwhile.

Agreed. Maybe not completely remove them, but make them drop a LOT less.

ya id say no armor drops for anything that can drop a +5 and up.
a shadow dragon or boss for armor sucks I get a negative feeling when i get armor from higher end monsters lol, its better just killing them with no drop

i said almost the same thing on a very similar thread not long ago.

to add to that.

i was recently hunting in the hardest lvl of a major dungeon( ), i was there about an hour and a half. cleared it a few times. I came away with 6 weps and 2 armor! sounds great, till you know they were ALL ruin weps! hardest lvl of a dungeon and all i can get is ruin..crappy. and i doubt it is only that im unlucky.

not sure how luck works but...if im hunting weak creatures and only weak creatures, ill never get over like 50 luck...but if i hunt only tough creatures or bosses, i get over 100 all the time.i had 217 luck the other day...lol

i had a new thought about magic armor drops...to make them more valuable...i say leave them alone, but make it so they have like 1 stone weight each only. ppl might want more of that.

i like falins idea..
if the magic armour only weighed 1 stone..
or even better no stones..
it would be desireable..
id use it on my crafters just for extra protection but not weight hem down

what he said...no weight on magic armor drops. they are not super good on armor anyway so unless you get badass armor+15 its just a minor boost but definetly great for new players to train with, like when your a newb and training in gy and you get armor you could use would be sweet!

But ya just got some fortification pieces instead of power weapon drop and this stuff is like shadow armor seems like lol. Doesnt even sell for much to vendor either hah

the worst part about magic armor that ive seen is how much it weighs... compare any piece to crafted and it weighs a ton more
