Weapon drops as loot from NPCs.

What is unbalanced? How would you fix it.

Balance would be to change the drop rate around. Right now its ruin weapon drops almost drop instantly at low luck but vanq weps will never drop even at high luck. Should be changed to were vanq weps will drop at lower luck (100) and ruin wont drop until like (200).

Kinda have to agree with kingblacktorn but I'd also want a sure drop (50%) on a Boss. Bosses like Bloody Mary, Chesire and some others are really though, tho they drop RARELY (and for rarely I mean, I killed Gorge everyday for 30 days, it dropped once, a power weapon, and never dropped his rare).

remove multi bag drops unless both bags are going to be vanq, no one wants 6 bags of defense items...

Agreed, actually remove completely the armor drop. No one likes it, and crafters are "affected".

Ok this is the situation.

I just killed in order:

Akashic, River, Gorge, Tumnus, Beastly Knight, Wyrm, Zogar, Chesire, Colossus, Akashic again.

178 LUCK 0 drops.

I look at luck more like just keeping track of things, not actually increasing your odds of a drop. If you have 100+ luck and kill a skeleton it makes sense statistically you will get one soon.

That being said, I would always rather have a +5 weapon than a +1 and +3. I could see ADDING a +1 drop ON TOP of your +5 but not splitting it up like that. Armor drops are completely a disappointment. However I like the idea of being able to hunt armor you cant craft. Make them special in some way. They could be weightless. Maybe a certain crafting skill could upgrade them, or enhanced with gems.

Stronger monsters need better odds of a drop, there is more time invested and more risk. Getting a +3 weapon from a golem sucks.

Also for the record I think odds of identifying it as Magic should be upped too, because warriors are pretty much bottom of the chain these days, and a powerful weapon is too rare/expensive. It would be more even if they didn't have to worry about using a good weapon so much.

Either make the armor better, or drop it.

Drakes don't appear to drop items.

I get a rare drop from elementals every 30 mins, but have killed 100+ drakes with no drop.s

Short and sweet: Cut back armor drops, Remove multi-bags, No more ruin and might drops from drakes/ogre lords/bosses etc and boost the chance of drops from bosses. Mostly everything everyone else said.
