I think it needs to be looked through,

To be accurate, only Halberds.. it would be cooler if halberds get stronger than they are now,,


all people now use Pitchforks

a vanq pitchfork would give 1-60 dmg to a warrior with 150 str
a vanq halberd only gives 8-50 to a warrior with 150 str as well

i'm not sure how can it be adjusted because i don't know if halberds were faster or not, but i have a warrior with gm swords and fencing, and i compared between both halberds and pitchforks,, so i can admit that pitchforks are much better,, that's why i dropped swords on my warrior and kept it on my tank as if something got changed
.
and through all of the new pvp techniques, mages kick asses now unless if a warrior is using a strong wep and spamming potts so fast, so im sure if that didn't change, everybody will just use fencing.

What other people think?

agree,, the sword and the mace is not balanced comparing to the fencing w/e the damage or the speed they need to get balanced really specially mages can kill the swordmanship or the mace warrior so easy,, not like the warrior who using fencing

So maher you are saying that people should only use Pitchforks and Halberts in game?

We should nuke the rest of the weapons then!

Do you even read or just skim posts lol.

He said that Swords (and others added Mace) need to be rebalanced to be on par with Fencing, if not, people will ONLY use Fencing in the future.

You're still missing the point.

He wants Swords to become balanced with Fencing, but in particular, the Halbred class (just like Pitchforks are for Fencing).

Also, putting things in color and then bolding them doesn't help make you more right.... :lol:

I'm still comparing with more weps in their hitting dmgs & their speed,,

As I was comparing Bardiches with Spears "Still working"

Long Swords/Viking Swords with War Forks "Still working"

Cutlasses/Katanas with Krysses..

So far I only came up with Halberds being the strongest in dmg for swords, while pitchforks for fencing.. So I was sure that Pitchforks are way stronger.

I thought the whole point was for swords and mace to be harder hitting and fencing to be faster hitting. As well swords should hit faster than axes and axes should hit harder.

The fact is that it would be nice if all weapons were balanced and we had some variety.

It's bad when the whole shard practically does just Pitchforks.

The whole shard uses pitchforks because we are pretty much forced to use them, atleast I am since i chose ranger class and only combat skill i can use is fencing not swords or mace. But the way I remember it being is that Fencing was the fastest but it misses the most. Mace was the slowest and hit the hardest and was most accurate and swords was right in the middle of both.

Ranger class can use all three weapons. You just get a 75% damage penalty on them.
