Well come on man, we all know there are problems with Obsidian, and clearly bitching and moaning isn't getting us anywhere. Just have faith in the staff that they will do what they are there for.

KEEP IN MIND LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, This IS a FREE game whom people are VOLUNTEERING to help out.

Also, didn't you notice the "hehe" at the end? I thought that implied it was said in good spirits but I guess I'll clarify it better in future situations.

i consider the original post to be more of a statement of truth rather than a whine or moan, altho the topic is obviously gonna cause clashes of opinion. i agree with egg, obs has never had consistant or constant updates everyone should no this however there are things that do need some LoV (couldnt help myself)

Even when I post that I'm "not around" I'm on at least a few hours a week so don't make it sound like we're compeltely absent from the game. A lot of times we are invisible handling crap that needs fixing. When I am "around" I'm on like 20-30 hours a week, plus my regular 50+ hour job.

Just wanna set one thing straight here and to be honest im always hesitant whenever i make posts which may be considered by some to contain negative content due to this but I did and do not Bitch, whine or complain about the staffing situation. I fully understand ppl have private lives and jobs and I fully appreciate that these ppl put themselves out to run a free community as ive done it myself and know exactly the effort required.
I just wish things would get debated in a civil manner without someone everytime having to come out with the stop whining phrase. Just because someone makes a statement or suggestion it does not make them negative. Input from the community here regardless whether its deemed good or bad points us in a direction and shows that theyre passionate about this place. BTW this isnt aimed at anyone inparticular so please dont take any offence

Here's a few points for ya.

a) CV and BB will be back soon to fix alot of problems.

b) We are currently reorganising players and staff. We hope to have alot more ingame staff to replace inactive/banned accounts and help balance the workload. This means quicker solving of problems and more events, and is one of the reasons why I am recruiting new moderators, and also why we need more admin available to appoint staff.

c) Something you guys may not know. Forum Admin have access to a mass mailer, which can send a copy of an email with something like -

Obsidian is back! We have added lots of new content, staff, and tweaks/bugfixes - so feel free to drop in

If BB has got the shard to a stage he likes and the players are happy with - and we have a strong staff presence to handle it, then he may give the go ahead to send out a mass mail to every registered email account on the forums. WE HAVE OVER 2700 REGISTERED USERS. Do the math, guys

To be honest with ya the old saying "no news is good news" is in my opinion a load 'o' faff as its normally the root of most rumours and worries. The more the merrier i say. thanx
