Yeah same thing happened with me when I went hunting awhile back. I think it might have something to do with the amount of monsters that are up there (insane numbers lol but fun)
Hope ya had fun on the guild hunt

It was lots of fun, and that one area caused LOTS of crashes. It got so bad that as soon I moved I crashed. As soon as we moved less then a screen away it was good. The area that we were at was the room right after the invisible wall puzzle and just before the bally spawn. I think we were on level 4. Cyber was there, he knows where we were.

I'd say it was probably an anomoly why you were crashing. I've never crashed in that area. Other players don't crash. If I get more reports I'll look into it, but for now was probably just something odd happening.

I could say i crash alot (like 15-20 times each time i play(atleast)) dunno why, but a place I always crash in as soon i reach it almost is that Desert city... Newjuil or what its called....
I even crash using the portal chamber stone, and now last time was when I entered cove cave. starting to get annoying

I find that with the newer characters you're more likely to crash. As I've played a newer character within the past while and I crashed far more on that character than on my main character. Either way, ensure that you have your "transserv" closed out (check by hitting ctrl+alt+delete and looking at the programs running, close any called "transserv" or if there is 2 Obsidian.exe's close the one using 0 CPU)
Also, it's quite normal to crash entering the runestone chamber. It is not a multi, or statically written into the world, so it's a lot of tiles to load onto your screen all of the sudden.

It also helps to only double click the runestone once the "runestone ready sound" is over.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Hyloth Level 3 during the last week or so. Let me start by saying that I very, very rarely crash, and when I do, it is always at a vendor, or in the fighting pits (it has not happened at a vendor in over 6 months that I can think of though). With that said, Hyloth level 3 makes me crash on a constant basis. It seams to be linked to the Claw daemon, and in particular when arrows are being shot at it through a doorway. The daemon vanishes from sight. I can still hit it with arrows, but the arrows appear to be coming from somewhere off the far side of the screen and not from my character. Once I see this, a crash usually follows shortly after, and I find a safe place (it does not always work though). It also seams to crash on me when a daemon and a clew daemon are on the same screen, very close to me, and the daemon at ¼ health or less.. This is the more dangerous of crashes, because I can't see it coming, and unless I'm very lucky, I'm dead when I get back in.
