been a while but i believe resmelting items brings your smithing up fast. i used to just make coifs and sell em myself though. good money in coifs.

yea.. just like make a bunch of daggers resmelt them all .. its a lil easier and more efficent to do one thing at once i find at times.. well easier on hands i suppose.. and u begin to progarm urself to the same robotic movement
gains on blacksmithy really dont mtter what u create.. do the less u can.. u got 2 choices...
daggers
or maces..
both end up being the same iron ingot cost... after create resmelt that is..
any how..
i just do daggers.. to me.. smithing is the easy part.. mineing is the pain....
but yea.. from what i have experienced... u will get same gains from one thing as u will ne next... so jus do the daggers.... but as they said... always remember to resmelt!!!!

If you want to make money while doing it, make gorgets and sell them to the vendors
if youy just want to gain skill, make daggers and resmelt them and make them again.
as stated before, do repairs too. those help ALOT. get some colored armor, go get it damaged and train repair on it
Oh and for mining, smelt your ore one at a time.

Make daggers > resmelt the daggers as Oigen said
Then to make money: DONT WASTE YOUR IRON INGOTS
make COIFS from rusty, and if u want gold, for bronze make gorgets
why?
chainmails coifs of gold and rusty costs 10 of their ingots, and gorgets 15
while as the money you make is about a 20gp difference. Bronze doesnt matter really, because the gorget and the coif costs the same amount of ingots.
