CyberVic's Guide to putting your Character or Guild profile page in your signaure.

1. At the top of any forum page click on "Profile".
2. Scroll halfway down the page and look at your signature.
3. Enter your name/guild how you would like it to appear. examle "GM CyberVic of Obsidian Staff"
4. Load up the obsidian stats page.
5. Click on "All Active Characters" or just use this link.
6. Find and click on your name (it's in alphabetical order).
7. Look at the URL in your address bar, this is the URL to your character stat page.
8. Using URL [ulr=http://www.dxgaming.com/phpbb/faq.php?mode=bbcode]BBcode[/url], use the URL code to make your name link to your character profile page.
9. Go back to your character profile page and click on your guild name.
10. Repeat 7 and 8 for your guild and/or Repeat 7 and 8 for other characters you play and wish in your signature.

NOTE: Yes I know there's a limit of how many characters there can be in your signature. There was barely enough characters for me to put my character name and guild with hyperlinks to both. So I over doubled the number of characters. Now it is 600 characters for a signature instead of 255. NOTE: Anyone abusing this increase will have their ability to use signatures removed and yes we have the power to do that.

P.S. If you REALLY care about advertising obsidian, put your character profile links on signatures of other message boards you visit.

Hey Thassius I don't know where you got the "mode" in your character profile URL, but it's wrong. I took the liberty of fixing your signature for you.

Thanks mate - I got the 'mode' using the exact method you suggested, so maybe its something to do with firefox, or the cookie retained some details that logged me into a slightly different page - I've no clue
