I was wondering which weapons are the best ones for each class. Back when I was playing pay UO katanas and halberds were considered the best weapons for a swordsman, but after reading some posts it seems that for this shard the best weapons are a battle axe and long sword. Could someone share their knowledge of the best weapons for this shard?

from what i know the best are, as follows:

swordsman: long sword, viking sword, battle axe

macefighter: hammerpick, war axe

fencer: kryss, short spear, war fork

spears are all awful, don't bother; war forks are good for mobs with high armor, in almost all other cases, krysses are the best.

Depends on the ability of the weapon. If you are using a leech weapon i suggest a faster weapon doing less dmg for a greater chance for the effect (hint: stamina weapon in pvp but what do i know)

jorus, when u use the stam weapon, and u get them to say that they're paralyzed, its just bull
every time i'v done that to someone they just walk off from it

cuz stamina regenerates fast.

Use lightning or poison strike on the faster weapons. Stamina is OK vs another warrior in a 1 on 1, but it does not give that instant effect of a poison or lightning, and as people said, it can be walked away from.

Kryss of vanq of lightning kicks ass.

War axes are better than war hammers at relatively low strength, although I hear that shifts as you approach 150+
