In the week or so i've been playing it's never been this bad. It'd like trying to cut a watermellon with a butter knife. It's slow and painful, specially when on an old computer and have no skills other than crafting. Easy work for Pk's with good computers.

i play on dialup.. i do fine..

If the server's a bit slow today it might be because aprpently we've had more listeners in the last 6 hours to Podcast episode 3 than in the entire 2 weeks that Podcast 2 was up. I'm pretty sure BB's seperating bandwidth between the podcast and the actual game server but in case they are in any way shape or form sharing bandwidth that might be the cause.

I've sensed no lag

me either.. i think its just this guys connection or computer

We've been having SOME connection issues but fortunately their on the downstream side of things and don't affect Obsidian much at all.

And yes we've been having alot of downloads of the podcast, but the Obsidian Server and Obsidian Website are on a dedicated server and all of our downloads (clients, patches, podcasts, etc) are distributed over a number of other servers that don't use the same pipe.
