i like the way it was because if you start adding thing like arour and abndaids its going to put a bigger gap between those who have higher skills and stats from the people with out. i prefer it liek it is so it keept the crafter and mercant typed players involved opposed to stirctly worked warriors and mages. but maybe a little more selection then completly random to keep teams a bit more even. but also teams need good stratagies...

yup i agree totally. the one thing that made this event stand out for me was the fact that anyone could be part of it regardless of what skill they had, it was still fun. Adding all the usual gumpf would just make it another run of the mill pvp event where only mages and warriors are capable of taking part

bandages i see are needed tho.. otherwise warriors serve no purpose.. i also think it would have been much more fun without the stone wall spell
Dude...
WTF are you talking about? I went with my warrior Lea and I capped 3 times out of 6 with the help of Raven.

You should seriously learn to draw a line in your whining and bitching.

I didn't go too far *LINE* I think I went too far

Why not ask for BB and CV to impliment blackrock armor for everyone and vanqs too while ur at it.

The way I see it, warriors are essential for a good and suicidal offensive just as much as mages are essential for a good flag defensive.

Pls Crox, stop bitching about absolutely everything and learn to enjoy some things the way they are?

Keep things just how they were - was great fun!

The implementation of bandies/armour would seperate the lesser skilled players from the higher skilled ones which ruins the whole feel of the event.

Thanks to everyone who went and to the gamemasters who went to run it :D

Was one of the best events I've gone to!

ive been waiting for a ctf ever since i came back, its depressing as hell missing it.

oh and ctfs are almost perfect theres no need to change em, it makes you use your friggin brain for once... more than hmm should i run or sit here should i use a bow or axe?...should i fs and poison or uihhmmm fs and poison.

I think this one was done as a spur of the moment thing. Next one will hopefully tell people ahead of time to guarentee a huge turnout :)

It was pretty much a quick test run of the event to check for any bugs or balance issues. I'm planning on hosting a huge one later this month and we might possibly have a tournament too for teams of 8 to sign up for.
