Hmm ok its quite apparent that my presence in recent months has been missed on the forum.
First off, I do not mind the odd crude joke. We have never been censorship monsters here, and I would never warn a player if indeed (Marthurin) had intended a crude pun. At the end of the day, if you aren't old or mature enough to get such a joke then it doesnt effect you. There was no crude language involved.
HOWEVER this is clearly not the case, the original post was in itself inane and it was not right for a staff member (Zaphod) to twist the meaning of the post in a childish manner. HOWEVER this in itself is again pretty harmless - and while not the kind of behaviour to be expected from a moderator and Seer it is not what I would consider serious.
Bryan you know better than to post things like that (inflammatory) regarding peoples sexual practises regarding metaphorical 'wood'.
IN ADDITION moderators (Eros) are under strict instruction that if they must edit a post they are to do so responsibly and to leave a caption explaining who they are and why they have edited the post. In this case however the moderator has merely changed one crude post for another with no valid explanation as to why (ie there wasnt one
)
FINALLY - Naturewarrior my original warnings to you now stand, I have warned you in the past that if I have to warn you again you will be forum banned. I will reknew that warning now and give you a final chance on the basis that I haven't been around for a while and you are obviously under the impression that this behaviour has become acceptable once more. You have been shown that it is not acceptable ingame - the same stands for our forums. You do not have the right in this case to challenge a staff member and moderator, and certainly no right to ridicule them. Zaphod is a Seer and Moderator and as such is entitled to your respect if you wish to remain on the forum.
So in short -
Eros - Use the moderator editing function responsibly
Zaphod - Please keep comments from your staff account professional
Bryan - Don't cause trouble
