There are alot of people who think all opinions are equal, and this simply is not true. An opinion carries the weight of the person that is giving it. If you are a newb who has played the game for 2 months, and you think that there needs to be some major changes, fine. Say what you want to say, but be ready to be told what's wrong, why it's wrong, and how stoopid you are for being arrogant enough to sudjest changes.

If you bitch about things and claim that the majority of Obsidian feels the same way you do, and that things need to be changed, because when things go this way people leave, so things need to go this other way. Fine, just be ready to be called a whining, bitching, ignorant punk.

And it really doesn't matter how long you've been here, show respect for the work people are doing for you, for free. Don't be bitching about things you don't like simply because they make the game a bit harder. My favorite games are the ones that I think I have something solved, and then think to myself, "Does this game really like me that much?" Of course the answer is no 100% of the time.

If this games to hard quit, we won't miss you. I'll spit on your goodbye letters, and boot your ass out the door.

Bottomline, you're all punks and newbs. Your opinions are only valid when they are thoughtful, constructive, intellegent (I'll lean on this one a little bit), and above all hillarious. Otherwise, don't be too suprised if you get a post from me telling you just how big a Duo you are.

I understand your point entirely, and agree to a certain extent, but I can't help but feel this post was pointlessly inflammatory - the opinions of all players are valid.

While it may be frustrating that certain factions of the player base always complain - the majority contribute positively to the evolution of the shard.

I agree that ill-founded complaints from new/inexperienced players are sometimes rude and tiresome for admin to read, but I don't think that "you're all punks and newbs" is conducive to the forum attitudes I condone here, or indeed the community sense of the shard in general. And leave Duo alone

But again, certain players maybe need to complain less. However, I haven't really seen much of this on the forum of late? I can't help but feel this post is a little bit out-of-sync with current player attitudes?

I think that this is more insync with my current attitude. Yes I agree that alot of players have some good ideas, and they are expressing them well. But far too often when I see a idea that is just ill thought and vastly ill concieved people just post it anyways.

I see alot of people posting about what would be best for them, and not what would be best for the shard as a whole.
