Everytime the shard gets some downtime, everyone seems to turn against each other here. It really exposes how some people need to be reminded it's just a game. It never fails... every time it's down even for a couple of days, flames fly.

I was a bit guilty of it myself once... back in the big August to January mess. Essentially what it boiled down to was that I was a bit upset about the fact people were whoring other shards, tossing racial slurs, leaving long rants ripping into staff, etc and NOTHING seemed to be getting done to even stop that, much less any status on when the shard was coming back yet. This related to a complaint I see here from time to time I had myself which was "why are special exceptions made for some of these rule-breaking pricks?".

As all of this is going on, my 2 or 3 posts I was writing to point this out were being deleted by Cybervic himself AS I was posting. However, it was for good reason in the end. He came to the conclusion everyone wanted to complain about something and started a "monkey poop flinging" thread for us all to get it all out. And when it was all out... I actually think some of what was said was taken into consideration. But of course we all know there are still improvements that need to be made, just as a few players need to improve on their social skills. For the most part, the whole ordeal was pretty pointless as I feel they would have come around and made those improvements anyway.

So I guess to make a long story short what I'm saying is starting 3 or 4 complaint posts on the same topic is worthless. Bickering back and forth with that person is worthless. Complaining of having posts removed or edited never does any good even if you are in the right (everyone makes mistakes) is also a complete waste of your time. Go outside. Get a job. Do something besides this.

wizard u didnt read my post did u, i just wanted to know why my posts were deleted everything in my posts were within the rules and had no point in being deleted. I could see if i was falming people or flaming staff but i wasnt so i dont get were u are coming from.

ok i get yas just sayin posts should not be removed because or personal reason from a mod, now if bb or vic does it thats the way it is. I play diff shard other than obs and on other forums u can straight out attack a gm on the forums and the worst that will happen to the post is it will be locked if that. just seems like people abuse the pwer they have here 2 much. ok i am done

You realize its all the same, on every single shard out there any other game out there. A *power* stuggle, so and so group hating on staff and wutnot. I'm not saying those ppl arent right that blame stuff or that all staff (since i've started playing to the present moment) have been the greatest, or really deserved their title.

Thats what exactly happens, a few posts complaining, nothing. Player leaves.

And most times no one gives a shat anyways.

But theres a difference a huge difference between complaning like a retard, and complaning for a cause. Depends on whos reading it, and who's taking consideration to the other persons complaint, if its gonna get heard in a good way or not so good.

Sometimes people just take complaints the wrong way...and its honestly a shame when it comes to that. But its kinda like nothing can be done, so yeah. move on. Sometimes its easier not to complain na meen dawgz
