I used to play this game for about 2 months a year ago.
I made a warrior to try and earn cash for regs to cast spells because I always wanted a mage. I need to know, since I've been browsing these threads lately I've noticed a few changes. And I have 1 question, Is getting a mage started still really expensive?

yepp....

You need to start with a crafter. Even warriors have a hard time staying self-sufficient without the cash from a crafter.

Well if you want a good tips i give you 2 choises 1) if you stil have you warrior traing the best you can warrios are no expensive just need time when you get like GM sword or mace etc get you str up and healing importan make sure you get like 120 dex or 140 better healing them go hunt in hard place like destar kill drakes you make lot cash (recomende:go with friends in case you got pk keep some wall pots with you it give chance to run away lol) be the way in wrong or others place you can hunt regs for traing etc.. 2) make crafter the best making money are alchemy or fisherman (alchemy are easier).... that what i did before i make my mage i create fisherman..... so good luck and traing hard, the better you are more money you will get.....have fun.
