What do you think it's the best melee for a warrior and why?

macefighting is the best, I've used both macing and swords at GM, and ive owned every fencer ive fought. fencing better vs mages than it is against warriors i suppose... but war forks r ok.

They are all the same, benifits / disadvantages to them all

nah id say go swords they own mace 8 times out of 10

fencing is pimp if you are a defensive type of character, as teh longer the fight goes the more you break into peoples armor... then if you are an offensive type of character, macing is best.. and if you are in between you go swords.

I have been gm swords, fencing, and macing.. and i have been pretty decent with all three of them but i was better when i was a swordsman i think.. even thou i have never had a decent macing weapon.

Fencing is best. Not because it can cause a lot of damage, but because it sucks so bad your forced to find new and inventive ways to fight.

Swords.

Surely not? Even noobs know theres no point in making a new character untill their main warrior is trained?

I'm personally a sword advocate, but the reason I give macing the nod is because the higher damage-per-hit threshold makes it better at penetrating reactive armour.

well i used both, not a flame btw but if u dnt ave money then u might aswell do macing becasue swords gets your str to like 75 i think and macing gets it to 100 so for you to get 100 str do amcing but in my opinion swords is better...yes with hammerpicks you can have a shield and they are strong but it delays your healing and BA are strong as f*** and i love them....
