Wow funny how Thassius one of the hardest working staff member's we've had is given a one finger salute when he quits because of the overall opinions of some of the assholes on this server. There were lots of really awesome plans for Thassius on off hours as a GM to setup events and quests that on hours Hydro would run, but I guess people just want to flame someone over and over because they disagree with a f'ing promotion?

Just goes to show this shard is mostly complainers. Even new players if you're lucky enough to survive the harrasment of the complainers and can stomach the assholes you eventually become one because the shitty attitudes of the many overwelms and spread like a plague to those who stick around.

I say to all you people who are the cause of a great staff quitting "FuK U!"

And you can take that to the bank.

*flaming of me will now ensue I'm sure*

P.S. In my book if Thassius ever wants to return there's always a clean robe here for him.

Well there are a few ppl I am sure (like myself) that are sad to see you go. Not just because I am a moderator.

I prob never did know ya but sorry to see ya leave.

But the best thing to do is not make a goodbye post. Sometimes it can just bring flameing ect ect. But hey life goes on and at least you have good memories of the game, that is what matters the most. Yes, OBS has had its share of asshats but there has been alot of great people. Dont dwell on the negative it only makes it harder.

Good luck in what ever you do Thas. Chill out a while and remember this, people get jealous because they couldn't fill your shoes m8.

You were my favorite, but I don't play anymore for the same reasons so I can't really complain. You were the nicest person with the exception of my husband(who has to be nice).

Hey, Thass, we love you as staff, I finally figured out who your player was to, and I remember when a man named Thass became counsellor, the friend that helped me went away... xD... I liked you as both player and staff, and now your leaving cause of inconsiderate jerks like Emo.

And personal feeling come in to play some times. It's human nature, your right, we aren't perfect. We make mistakes, learn from them and continue on, stay here and be a GM.
And I've heard about the hole LoV thing thats going on... Mistakes? Make a public appoligy and it can fix peoples feelings about you to an extent?

Just stay here man, mistakes are mistakes. If you choose not to learn from mistakes, thats when your not worthy, but if you do, it's the greatest thing their is, it's called being human.

Must say I'm sorry just for the players that are losing potential GM help in
game. If he wouldn't have got bored of a new "toy" in couple months and
went mia again, that is.

It's not about disagreeing with promotion or attitudes in game. It's about
Thass personality. Meaning, I don't think I've known other such whining,
self centered, narrow minded, arrogant, slick, lying (or maybe self
delusional), pompous hypocrit ever. Especially not irl, as they get their
asses kicked and adapt promptly.

Would players even want a guy, that throws a pissy fit after getting some
of his medicine back in IRC and quits after being denied revenge on ops,
for staff.. So who's a child staff here?

Too bad he's staying on forums to continue giving his piece of mind and
brag (about questionable things). Yay for me that I've learned to ignore
the types outta contempt for them long time ago.

And of course, thanks for the usefull work You did as staff.

(any bets he won't quit though? power trip and all)

I will most definitely speak my mind and say that Regiss' post is obnoxious, spiteful, immature (notice I pick facts based on your above statement rather than random flames for effect) and is most definitely more self-absorbed than anything I have ever committed to speech, type, or paper. It is anyone who disagrees that needs to re-read it, not me.

I am sure that if he ever had the courage and/or audacity to speak that way to myself or anyone else in real life, then he has often been on the recieving end of such ass-kicking he so vividly describes

Even Ashes' comments didn't bother me, but Regiss' post thoroughly declared him as an asshole, in such sensational style that I had no idea he was capable of. I'm a little dissappointed -

I believed he was more mature than that... and certainly perpetuating mistruths about both my general behaviour and reasons for leaving (IRC lol) shows much about his honesty and overall character.
