The price would be dependant on how obtainable/common BB wants them to be, simple as that.

If people disagree with a higher price then I'll probably just look at ways to make them harder and more interesting to obtain than just parting with a large sum of gold.

Perhaps some kind of 'quest' for the two to undertake to prove their love? Maybe they would need to solve riddles to find an ordained priest to marry them in the first place?

I don't know... feel free to make suggestions.

have u guys watched braveheart? well seems to me like it was pretty easy and cheap to get married back then. plus all this talk about stupid stuff is just going to scare new players away. We look like a pretty soft society, theres no post anywhere about anyones mom or something, but we spend our time talking about wedding rings. Jesus make things more appealing to a larger audience so ppl might be interested in joining the shard. you guys make it seem like all that is left in obs are craftmen and softies, that just wanna get married, have kids, and become farmers and shit.

In-game marriages aren't a bad idea. But I agree with Barney, the price really shouldn't be so high. Instead... charge high for a divorce request.
