some questions remain that im in unsure of..

When i gain in skill on smithing, do i get a bigger chance of succeeding crafting soemthing, like.. if i can craft a shadow plate arm at 70%. is it bigger chance of success at crafting it at 71% or higher skill.

And when a items gets avaiable for crafting in the meny of items to craft, it should mean i have a chance of crafting them right? because ive never successfully crafted a shadow/mytheril platemail piece so far.. only ring at best :x (and ive had shadow/myth platemail items avaiable in meny for a while now)

thanks for answers of knowledge regarding this topic :)

yeah depends on luck, with Rose and BR.
But with gm Blacksmith, the higher the better.
And keep in mind,if you can MINE shadow,it means your mining skill is high, but you gotta have high BLACKSMITHING skill to craft them. Got it? :)

hey i just got a crazy thought! if swing rate increase with weapon with more Dexterity. does the crafting intervall decrease with more Dexterity?? like when crafting a piece of armor...

would be utterly sweet :)

That would help a lot with training...but once your GM, time it takes to craft a few sets of armor is basically nothing and becomes meaningless.

It does not take long to GM mining and smithing. I think I GMed both in well under a month...once I got off my ass and started really training. It took me about a year to get my ass in gear though.

Sweet, yep. Maybe useless points once done with training. But if this works it would help me out alot on the way. That is if anyone can bring me words of wisdom about this. :)

I would say you are better off to GM mining first and use the iron from that to gm smith, that way you can save all your coloured ore for when you are GM. Atleast thats the way i would have done it if i hadn't gotten fed up and deleted my miner.

I've heard of alot of ppl using the bronze and rusty ores to make coifs and sell them. You could pay your taxes that way of course. Bronze and rusty ores aren't really worth saving anyway really. But then I've never even bought any armour less than Agapite except maybe iron plate to train my mages
