I'd like to know more about what staff can and cannot do if he catches you afk macroing...

Rules say that:

No AFK macroing - Do not leave your computer for even 2 seconds with a macro running. Macros are legal only so that players do not develop carpel tunnel syndrom, do not abuse this privelege or macros may be banned all together. if you are caught AFK macroing, you will be punished, which ranges from a macro stone to instant jailtime, depending on the staff and the incident.

Now, why staff sometimes puts macro stone, and sometimes doesn't?

From my knowledge staff will always drop a macro stone if they think you are AFK macroing.

If its a Couns or seer - They can Jail you (Time depends on how they fell e.g if they court you 10 times you wil get a long period)

But IF a GM catchs you they drop a macro stone, and then if you do not respond then they can remove your sklill that you are macroing
e.g If you are macroing Anatomy and they catch you afk at 80 they could reduce it to 50% or even 0

This is a good idea because it stops you from breaking the rules

This is providing you are Macroing legalally, If not even further measures will be taken

Ok about the macro stone.. but why sometimes they jail you immediatly?

Cause they see you afk macroing every other day so they don't bother to drop a stone. This title made by terek is a big hint to staff =D.

The only reason a staff member would jail you imediately is if you are doing a macro illegally. If not then there would off been a macrostone

the only times i have been insta jailed are the times i was actually paying attention...

I can understad jail time if it is quiet obvious that you are afk completly. But jail because you missed 1-2 lines of text is sad Fishing is boring.....I space out....

I have been sent to jail without a stone, because the staff member spoke to me and I didn't answer. eg: "are you there Don" no reply so obviously I'm afk.

This method should be used more imo.

That methods shit, when I'm macroing my journal gets spammed by like 20000 sentences. Shit don't stay on my screen long enough to read, let alone comprehend and speak back..

Macro stones were made by BB for a reason.

Well thers another sig for ashes,.... I was aiming at the lone macroer in a house or a secluded area where its blatent there macroing, a stone just buys them 3 or 4 mins to check once in a while.

Sounds like ashes is in a bad mood. Ashes, text people say stays on your screen the same duration no matter how much you have spam from other sources. Just because it fills up your journal too fast doesn't mean you can't be looking at the screen and see someone pop in next to you and say hi.

You should be able to notice a chicken spawning if you're watching the game. <- One of blinkers old tactics. (spawn the chicken, give the chicken ungodly strength and evil, make the chicken kill you) all in all you have around 15 seconds tops to say something to stop it before you're dead
