Omerta was an old guild created by viper I think if you ask Alexander to change the name because omerta was your old guild im sure he will if your nice

here's my explanation:

1. flame judas--it's ok.. nobody gets punished by that
2. flame cult--that's what the entire shard do
3. don't forget to warn him with your mod account
4. type .resend after that

I didn't mean to come across as I was demanding he changed the name, was more of a little nudge to say the name had been used.

I let the Omerta guild die which I regret, but theres no rule saying you can't name your guild after an old one. Up to you if you wanna keep the name, but if you want to build your own up, you don't want people to keep reminding you about how the old Omerta owned the world

Yeah, sorry for poking fun at the theme. As cool as I thought the GWAR theme was... I found out later that Seer Subcity as player had a guild named "Scummdogs of the Universe" I believe, which is a GWAR album. So I understand sometimes it's hard to do things that haven't been done before heh-heh. Good luck to you.

K so you edited the name, it was a bit much but did you have to edit the entire point of the post? The point was all of them like RmX was banned for doing stupid stuff.

That was not my intention. With all of this out of the way, hopefully the topic won't end up getting locked due to more fighting. I've never liked seeing guild introduction threads killed because of being broken down into pissing contests.

The name Omerta is something I really like. I really would like to keep this name. However, I do not wish to take honour away from a guild that had worked hard to make a name for itself. I also want to be sure that if this guild is strong, that it has it's own identity. I hope that my guild will embody Truth and Honour in it's actions; that it's members will show compassion AND strength. with this in mind, I have decided to change the name to Soldati Di Veritas. This means Soldiers Of Truth.
Now with that out of the way; Anyone interested in this guild PM me or msn me [email protected]

I do not care if you are active or inactive or if you are a crafter or mage. I want people that want to have some fun with events and hunts or anything that may be suggested. After a good player base is established, we can really make a fun and active guild that will have the power to defend and retalliate against aggressors.

Thank you for changing the name. Omerta was the first guild I joined on Obsidian, and its memories stand out as some of the best that I have had during my time here. I'd hate to see the name hijacked...intentionally or otherwise.
