how about a portal which brings u to a completely random spot on the whole obsi map lol

thats actually a pretty cool idea i'll ask blinkers if its possible... however I'm 98% sure that with the current coord system, there would be no way to prevent players getting stuck in rock etc.

I wonder if its possible for us to create a list of, say, 100 possible 'player accessible' coordinate locations, and have the moongate pick one at random?

Even more cool, maybe 99 of the spots are random dangerous dungeon locations, and just 1 is a secret area that we will put treasure in, so that the lucky player who gets there finds something cool...

The "Are you feeling lucky?" moongate :)

Well ther were some rules that CV disputed but then we never heard from him about it again. So I wasn't sure.

Hmm the only rule that I saw CV 'dispute' was about taming animals in buildings... however given that he wasn't ingame to see how this was being abused AFK he probably didn't realise what a problem it was becoming.

Actually he did realize it but he said that afkers should be punished and not the rest of the shard.

as to the random gate, I've found just that type of script. Should any staff with scripting ability wish to utilize it contact me.
