Just curious, is there a rate at which weaps drop? like % or something or is all to do with luck or what?

Just curious cause sometimes the baddies drop like whoa and sometimes you could hunt for hours and never see a thing.

i know only 1 thing:
the loot u get from a monster is not random. in other words the loot u get from a monster was been carried by the monster from the first moment it spawned. in other other words, theoretically u could get 1 magical weap after another, 10 in a row, nonstop if u like, IF u knew which monster carrys them.

however it doesnt answer the question whats the possibility of a monster getting a magical weap at the moment it spawns. i believe only staff knows that

You'd have to ask CV who can see the script for loot.. but I believe it still wouldn't be too accurate.. just go for ones that always drop, like ettin lords or cyclops kings.. or go down to hythloth and own some blackgates and balrons, that's always fun and profitable

OK LOL You dont always need to fight cyclops kings and ettin lords to get nice stuff tho- I was hunting in wrong a month or so ago and you know those crappy one hit and they are dead rogues? I had one drop over 15k in gold, freaky huh? Even freakier.... the same day I was hunting orcs in the Northern Territory and had a orc drop 5 orbs- one of each. So it really makes you think twice about just running past the little guys to kill the big guys doesnt it? LOL Or......... maybe the Gods just love me- you know never mind I think thats the answer the Gods LOVE Raine! Tee Hee!

fight skeleton archers.. I found like 5 BA's off them in about an hour one time.. was great. Not to mention the bones and arrows are okay to collect.

i was fightin the black robed mages in wrong just gettin me a few spare black robes and one dropped a FULL spellbook including all the disabled and unscriptable spells

Sounds about right yeah lol. Besides its thrilling when you do eventually get lucky and find a really cool wep drop, if it happened constantly then what fun would it be? I think it would get boring after a while. But then thats just me lol.

Well me and chronos have just been hunting for over a hour and we killed 10 blackgate deamons and a balron plus deamon bezerkers and regular deamons etc we got 20 drops, 2 of them were armor, alot of them were ruin and might and only one was a vanq, so for killing lots of the hardest things on the shard (or close to the hardest except shadows) i think its pants how we get ruin weaps when even skeles drop them hehe.
But that should show vanq's are extremly rare but blackgates and balrons drop quite often, just shitty things


P.S Lord Blackgate Deamon Shadow down there now so becareful

i got full mage book from wrong mages, and in the old wrong wit h the orcs i got a +9 war mace of lighting, from a orc, sold it to zelda heeh
got a few other cool drops, but i wont list them here
