I gotta be honest and i never remember to vote unless people post the links, once thats done and the post is near top of page i vote everyday, but once the post has gone i forget

gawd, I just remember sometimes once in a while...

Somebody should script like a ingame voting sistem... Like the boards that make you access to forums through game, you should do like a board that makes u vote once a day thorugh game and give you a reward of 100 gp or something for doing that..

I don't vote cause apparently owner doesn't want us to. Once we're ready
for new players I'll gladly vote daily once again.

Most vote sites have a limit of 1 vote per 24 hours (there's one with 12
hour delay), so it wouldn't be like earning much gold from voting. It'd also
need to do a check if a player actually votes and not just follows link,
which has no way of being implemented.

A simple vote link reminder tied to forum account which would pop up
every say 25 hours since last vote would do the job perfectly, cause ppl
simply forget to vote daily.

What is there to vote for? basically the principal is that voting brings in players but we need fixes before we get players.

id take new palyers any day bugs or not betime they get in the pvp scene hopefully invul would be fixxed, no reason to miss potential players in the mean time that won't likely be affected by the bugs in there noob life

Thts is a good idea. It's actually possible to trigger an URL from within the game by clicking an item etc. Blinkers had it on his test server.

The only problem is, the voting pages require an additional click to confirm the vote... which would mean you jump in and out of the game!

Maybe we could link voting items into accessing a certain area, such as serpents. After all, Donations are currently on hold...

You click three stones to load up the voting pages, and then the gate opens for you to access that area?

I think it would work pretty well, would only take 30 seconds to complete, and would give people a cool incentive to vote without resorting to forced voting.

i dont vote when the shard had about 1 player on a week cept when order lords would log on to get they ass whooped i did my part then trying to bring players here and giving my shit away to them

The items that Blinkers has on his test server are different to the bulletin boards. My idea was something scripted to coincide with opening a gate to serpents... which is a concept we dont have yet, do we?

It may not even be possible, but I'm just trying to think of ways to tie voting in with a player incentive, with an ingame feature and something feasible and efficient within the confines of sphere 51a.

well I think it is possible for 1 item to do more than 1 thing (poison pots)

yeah it was awesome the fact it consumed them in RL was awesomer Sect was bad ass but GOD was even badder ass.... all in all those 2 guilds combined had the same number as Order Lords
