if you ever need a house placed call up me or spawn weve placed dozens and if you want em placed side by side ever we are good about keepin the fences up tight without overlappin lockdown areas so shit still locks down

My most memorable moment was the countless hours me (Meth Magnus) and my brother james (Eladar Magnus) built our small 4 building "town" at the mine above minoc...

We had 4 houses lined up next to eachother, and all of the houses were enclosed together in tables for a fence (this was way befor they let us get walls) At first, there was only entrances in the front, but GM's got mad that we were using them to PK people who ran inside it, and it was becoming a nuecance for everyone who didnt know it was a dead end...and one of them *Cough* Jorus *Cough* made us open up the back...

The first house was right next to the mine closest to minoc. the "fence" was maybe 5 or 6 spaces away from the cave entrance. It had a drop box inside the fence, which curved in so we could stand next ot the box and still be on property.The side of the house had a panther pit, custom floors made from table that was connected between two of the roofs (the sandstone patio houses i think they were)

Second and third houses were connected at the roof with a custom table floor, under it was a little picnic area. Last house was our storage house, think it was one of those big 3 room ones... not sure

This is back when Helmsir and Ryne still had the origional Patriots. with that huge tower between our "town" and minoc.



As a second memory, is when Rynes new guild (forgot if it was the patriots remake, or some wierd name) ended up becoming the mayor and designers for the town of cove (now known as the noobie town) We were supposed to dress it up and make it look great, and have our own vendors inside it... and the doors were going to be locked until we were ready to open it...but The boss' had other idea's... turn out we ended up taking it as our own town and killing anyone who happened to port inside it lol

this lasted for a while befor the GM's took it back >.<





And for a Third, the countless hours me, Urza, Loki, Impe, Seph, Duo, Shooter, Helmsir, Frosthammer, Ashes, Zureese, Athena, Ryne, Tiggs, Freya, *mutters on for a few minutes* and Slug, spent talking crap at britan bank

when i used to play on catskills, i took my noob thief to east brit bank and chose a victim, i managed to steal his keys, then went running south east towards the water, the first boat i tried turned out to be the guy i just stole the keys from lol.. (what frigin luck)

so the boat was mine and i sailed into the sunset

Wow, so Redragon showed me this cool game Obsidian, so I was like,yah lets do that, so we both did a human warrior, and let them wrestle afk all night, we woke up and like SWEET, but then we figured out human+ wrestling=isnt the shit! so we deleted them and made RmX a vampire, I didnt train him so much becase I was lazy but THEN, me and Redragon, met Tammie and Shooter, with their [Shadows] tag, and we joined em! we couldnt belive it, a while after we left,and met this great guy called Darr, he invited Red to join KORT,and after a short while i was invited too, and we used to hunt at air shrine THE WHOLE DAY, untill my skills were quite good, and I decided to make a mage,and kill everyone! so here comes Alemao or at first Ares, I was training him ALOT all day long wasting all my valuable regs I got from the air shrines,untill I had gm magery and gm Med. That was the time to learn how to pvp, so I hooked up with zureese, he was like, speak to ashes he will let you in ,tell him I sent you. ofucrse I just got pkd and thats how we got enemies...(what a shame). then I hooekd up with Voldermot, and all the destiny gang, and DAMN I started training pvp all day long, I remember a day I went against drizzt 6 times, and I died 6 out of 6! yet never gave up. Untill one day, I got ganked by like 5 warriors and I killed them all! one of them was drizzts friend, so I find myself getting chased by like 7 pplz at pk bridge and I run and run hide, wall, kill,run run run run...and I actually survived it, and got a couple of the gankers,and drizzt was like, damn...he got abit better! that day on, I just decided Im good enough to pk. and the rest you know, alot of times I died, alot of times I killed, but sure it was one of the best times I had... well theres alot of times, and stuff but who tf rememebrs...(weed) ..
and yeah there we go, thats like a history of 5 years back or so! so..hmm...cool!

I got a few though First day i logged on was in like 2000 i think and saw an OutgoingBatlle at the bridge of Britain against Blue guys and Reds i still wonder why they moved that guard line though but yeah since its youre first day and dont know a thing you get excited and got caught up in the crossfire like a dozen times....I know how to ress thats for Sure cuz earlier that day i spend houres looking for how to get my butt ressed ¿?

My first 2vs2 was me and elleberation against mythrandyr and Piccoloz Me and pic joined around the same time was in the middle of the desert Just imagine just starting out like that and me and pic going up against each other with nothing more then a plain scimitar or longsword that was one of the funniest things i saw

The many changes to magic resistance hehe.... i kinda digged the reflection rings though although they were buggy ;/ why god do i had to gm it like 4 times on shoot

Being pk'd the first Time by Rahbdul at Britain Gy In that time we had white bags for the people who just started out but he didnt care rofl all he said was '' look at that crap i thought you had better loot then that''
as he dissapeared recalling and stole my20 bloody bandages and 500 gold

Being chased by Riders... Cuz they didnt like elleberation alot rofl Like Helmsir Derek Vaynard Ryne Eventually Rayne too i believe i dunno somewhere remember that name

And the angels is something i cant forget about have alot of fond memories of that Its Sad to see that it kinda died like this

joining Shadows with tammie but that didnt work out the way we planned it to be cuz getting banned for an year trashes up the guild thatsfor sure id say ;/ but the past is the past i say and times have changed since then like the skills and everything

Finnally id like to thank all the guys who helped me and the ones ive spend alot of time with playing obsidian ''you know who you are'' you guys made it all worth playing this server... As for the people who are playing right now id say play as it suits you and Make the best out of it all
Make this shard the best outta them all

Back in 2003 I stepped into this game.. searching for some cool UO shard..

I first started with my char called Veloz.. a total mess.. he was humand and kinda like 50% all skills lol.. then I quit for a while like 7 months cuz I didn't have an idea how to play... and anyone I asked back in cove some help just said.. "Dunno, i r new"
So like when i came back in summer 2004 I realized how to play thanks to Lestat, a vampire who actually understood the mechanics of the game but sucked still a lot... then I met Buddha, good friend of mine and some other ppl who helped me out like Athena, Shooter, old BoF members which I recon only the real name and not the in-game.
Good memories were: KoN vs BoF... like uber action there.. cove was a daily battle camp, with bodies everywhere... along me I had some newbs who started with me like BiteMe, Duck and someother on my side and Tossheets, Overmind, Shamino and other ppl in KoN.. and that I must say was the best time ever in the shard, then we all stepped outside cove and joined bigger guilds and meet some real fighters like Voldemort, Necrowarrior, Midnight, Elleberation, Zelda and all those Destiny/Lov guys.. actually I can't remember their first guild name..
Then I joined lots of guilds like BoF, Shadows, Sieg Heil, Destin, Crimson Syndicate ecc ecc
Then there was server rollback, and I got so pissed cuz I lost so much stuff that I deleted my account.
Then like, playerbase sucked a lot so I decided to brake up a bit with the game..
I came back and now I am taking a deserved break lol

I'll add my story.

I started a few months before I joined the forums, with my brothers and brother in law. It took me....ugh hours to figure out how to get out of the starting point >.<

Then I didnt really do much, started a guild called chilly willy mafia..ended it because of some idiot named Bryan, also got ingame married to some idiot named Bryan

Had a 'tank' named Abib who sucked and only really pk'd newbies before the cove no hurt teh newbies law, and a fisher/tamer named tori...who was...ok i guess. had a 'castle' (i think?) and lots of gold

when terek was in cove was about the time i was starting my mage char who was a lot younger than my rogue but anyways she was also in cove and we hunted the orc fort and terek kept letting me loot and almost dying protecting me from the orc capos even though my mage was well strong then he asked spiderqueen to be his gf lol.


alas terek molt, we turned 21 and were exiled from cove forever, our love affair doth endeth. rofl.
