Classes are HERE!



That's right! Class selection has arrived at Obsidian! Race characters may now select their class. With seven different classes to choice from, selection is not as easy as it first seems.

Once you have decided you can go ahead and log on to choose the class of your choice. However be warned: If you are going to lose a skill because of your class selection then please page requesting help and be patient waiting for a gamemaster to come and assist you in moving the skill onto another character.

The classes look cool. I'm also enjoying the idea of the necro.

That War-mage looks nice too. I wonder if people will pick this choice with all the new changes, but I might try one too

how do i change my race after having made my char awhile ago ?

so if i log on inter lose my 100 archery or how ever high it is, then choose ranger,, do i get that bak or somethin? lol

also....the war-mage is sounding good
(can anyone try and explain wheter or not if its like a tank)

i got my necro and i started in the class selection area and i selected the necro again but since i have no necro book is there a way i can get a new one? Is this mandatory....?

Currently races aren't available. But hopefully will be soon.
You won't lose your archery instantly. Just contact staff to help you move whichever skill you want moved over. We will only be moving one skill per character (MAYBE two in rare cases)

OK, in the race/class guide indicates that the war-mage can not wear "heavy armor(plate)". However, in the picture at the top of this thread the war-mage is wearing mytheril plate.

Did I miss something?

You can wear any armor, however if you are not proficient in the armor then you will take stamina penalties during most actions.
You cannot wield weapons you are not proficient in.

Seriously though, aren't humans supposed to be the best in the long long looooong run? I thought I read that in another post somewhere. Just curious...

i dont know about now but i know last night I couldn't wield an axe or pick axe as a smith. you get the message "smiths can only wield hammers". staff is working on it im told just wanted to update the rest of you
