Stat fish only seem to stack if they want to. Sometimes 9 will stack and sometimes stat fish will not stack at all. This poses a problem only in that fishers usually have small shacks to store their valuables. There are limited items allowed to be stored locked in a chest. If 50 strength fish are stacked all together vs separately you do not use up all of your space so fast. It is hard enough with all of the Forgetful fish. Stacking FFF would roxxor as well.

Hey,
the fish are acting pretty much the same way.
Food items usually don't stack properly...are the fish coded as food or potions? I am guessing potions. If not, maybe change them to potions?
Some potions don't stack...but this can ofc be attributed to their more=* accounting for skill. I am guessing as well that the fish don't have a more= anything in the coding that could mess with things...but who knows. You know better than any of us...
So, yeah same as b4 lol
Thanks for trying though.

-makes me think of a question though: Potions vary according to the skill of the person making them. Even though you have enough skill to make the potion, it may be weak because you are at the low end of the qualifications. Conversely, you would make longer lasting, more potent potions if you are higher skill and make higher quality items. This variation in quality of the potions causes unstackable potions.
The question I would pose is: Would people rather have potions that stack 100% of the time if they are the same type with the trade-off of the potions would all be of the same quality?
If potions made at each level were of the same quality/value, then they would be able to stack...meaning a lot less items on the server.

Anyways, I'm tired...just rambling. Back to gaming have fun lol

that is the exact same thing happening with the fish...
looks like fish are acting as potions? In that case, might just have to set a more= value...

but then again...I dunno :S

Old fish are still not stacking with each other. Have not tested new fish that are fished on different sessions online. Will update when I have.

It works like this currently:

World save occurs

You fish 9 str fish (they all stack)

World save occurs

You fish 4 str fish (they do not stack with the first lot)

World save occurs

You fish 3 str fish (these do not stack with either ones before)

Seems every world save resets something in the stacking proccess.
