ive only been on for just over 3 months now but the one thing that hits me everytime i think about obsi is how helpful and friendly the people are no matter who you talk to.. the first real helpful person i met was Mad Gael helping me out with fishing and then there was good old Mort who i've known for quiet some time now (good old PCPP) and as of late ive been talking a bit with Garr thanx to him everytime i come on screen im greeted with a TROGDOR COMES IN THE NIGHTTT!!! lol but yeah its the people that make this shard so good!!

one fond memory that i can't believe i forgot was with kiliorous, aka gm orisus today....we met on this game and like he said we talk every damn day now, about everything, we basically know each other and i think he's comin down thsi summer for a visit....the beach parties we're gonna throw at my cottage...damnnn, can't fucken wait. but yeah, we met on here i think by mistake, i can't exactly remember, but then we started goin to despise and killin wyrms and in between spawn time we'd talk bout stupid stuff like how life always fucks us over with the women, lmao...good topic to talk about while playing a video game tho eh...but yeah, i think i met one of my best friends on this computer game and i thank broadband for that i guess....obsidian is more then a uo server, its more then a game....its a damn community. I have played a few shards and none of them can compete with this one, it makes ya feel so comfortable, its almost like a second home....i mean ya can play any time, ill come home from a party and be all drunk and sit on the computer and rather play obsidian then pass out....if im tired, ill still play....i used to play every day after school for a while before goin out or doin homework, it was more important then homework guys, come on.....anyways wut im trying to say is that obsidian is like no other shard, its unexplainable and only ppl that have played for a while know wut im talking bout...once u get into it, u can't stop playing.....i love it...

I'll agree with that Zur. It's definitly one of a kind. It makes me happy to see the population exploded since I was on before. I was afraid things were falling apart, but after the last 2 days I've seen this place is still #1. Just still wish I had all my houses LOL.

Memories, ah yes the memories, back when me and Izzmak were racing to become Grandmaster Blacksmith
Back when I entered the patriots and Kanu told me I was one of the first member (and I think the first one in the guildstone, after Kanu)
Killing MinerPKs in the mines with my pickaxe (long live the old Britain Guards for the skills teaching )
When I didn't knew how the Runestone chamber worked, so I paid people to escort me from Sherwood to other places
I've wrecked my part of Havoc too with my Yuriko, along with Rahbdul and Madeleine I know most people didn't like it, but hey, at least it gave some challenge on the shard

I remember one time, it was late into the night, and only about 30 players on, I was mining, when all of a sudden all the players were transported onto a rock in the middle of the sea, you could bearly move. BB shows up and says " Just wanted to say, You guys rock". Then a FFA started.

Ive been here like over 3 years or so my greatest memory was when i was in my first tourney against picoloz when he was new here too haha that was my best memory btw his girl char was leslear

Yeh.. my memory of being here is clouded with thoughts of every garrs mom joke you can think of ... it has forever been around.. the almost 2 years ive been here. The memories I have are when I was just starting and all and how urza owned everybody as a newb.. i mean he beat picoz. That was great. All the people I have met through out the times i mean its great nothing can sur pass the memories that i have obtained from Obsidian.

I have been here for a little over 2 years.
My first memory is starting my character Voldemort (frustrating like no one knows him, tell me if you knew that character).
I remember casting fire fields on skeles with axes and feeling special cause i would make them walk through it and then they would die. I also worked so hard just to get up to 60 magery just by casting lightning and fire field on monsters.
I had one really good friend that would help me on Voldemort but i cant remember his name . He would take me down south of Brit and he would help me kill a warlock for a full spell book. (tell me if you were that person heh)

After that I started Gandalf the White. I always remember being pked by Raistlin. Heheh lost a lotttttt of regs to him. My first friend was Sir Galahad. THen i started a guild: Galahad, Fierce, Heph, Chaos Knight, Lancelot, Scorpion, Sir Phoenix, and some other guys. Then I quit for awhile it kinda fell apart. I dont know if that many people know me....but the ones that do i think remember me as not pking anyone!..I dont feel that significant to anyone besides my irl friends(except for a few peeps)...

well my play time is nearly 3 years, but I've always been around the shard since June 2000, I was the 1st vampire on Obsidian, and I have alot of good memories.

The sherwood festival with the house auction best 2000gp I ever spent. The donation auction, maybe we should do that again someday.

The many people I slain in the Sherwood fighting arena, and my home just outside of Sherwood right near where Cybervic lives now.

My friends Ragna, Ryn, Dain Ironfist, Poetic Winter, Frosthammer, Warhawk, Merlin, lonith, Rufus, Pheonix and all the rest that escape my memory.

Next year we'll all be looking back on new, maybe less fond memories.

Racing to become GM blacksmith/miner before ron...the funny thing is, I don't remember who won

Moving in my friend's 3 room house with ron berku, rahbdul and sherman or hwatever his name was

When rahbdul came back to play UO and wanted to PK along with me

The long nights of talking to rayne even tho she sucks at english

Frost. i hate her and she's dumb but still i like telling her how much she sucks

The slaughters at britain's bridge...I remember a day we were able to manage 15 bodies before they started decaying....15 different ppl mind you

Fighting with King against the hordes of order gankers and telling each other 'ok we shouldn't do this and we're gonna die but let's do it' and end up winning

The time 4 ppl wanted to kill rahbdul and i and we were in our tower in despise valley, we came out and ryne killed lailo trying to unparalyze her with a power BA or something, then we killed the rest, was funny

All the times rahbdul got patriots to think I'd influence rahbdul into becoming an evil bastard and i mind controlled him

When Rich sticked up for me when picoloz and friends would flame me 100% of the time on forums

The quest Jorus made and in which I participated as Triss, that was fun, the backdoor to Trinsic comes from him, there was a backdoor to sherwood in that quest, fun

When rahbdul and i would fight at britain's bridge, and yuriko would steal our opponents' spellbooks/arrows/bolts/bandages, helping us win fights

many more memories I guess don't tell jorus i have good memories of times i spent with him
