I can play a pretty mean bass line or two.

What styles you into?

im "retired" now but i used to have a slew of guitars. i played in quite a few bands in my day very fun times indeed. now i just look in the corner at the lone guitar i have left and think back on the good times .

I'm a lead guitarist, and I've done a course in music technology. I could mix it easy using Cubase or something, but it would be very hard to do organise remotely.

I would have to lay down some kind of drumtrack, and then each person would need to mic up their instrument in turn and record their part while listening to the backing track via headphones to ensure consistency across the board.

It would be possible, but v. tricky...

well tricky its obvious it wont sound studio like but you can make something pretty good sounding for a demo, but yet again i think i still prefer the good olde 4 track to record a whole band, make a few sound checks find where the mic catch everything clearly then press record so less troubles
