myguy is as ofnow 56 real fishing.Ihave been fishing with him for the first time in about 6 months.I start to fish, and half an hour later, stil no gain. Maybe i'm doing somethin wrong. I clickon the water, and as soon as itsays you pull out a nice fish iusehe hotkey, click on the same spot, andrepeat/ The delay is about two seconds. Anyone so something differently than i did..because this is taking alot longer than mining ever did, even at 90 skill.

use a macro to walk along a bridge and fish for you. You don't need to worry about picking fish up yet.

Fishing is harder than Mining, i'd say.
gains are pretty slow at the start but then they build up and get easier...
its just fishing....
BUT ITS LIKE A SUPRISE
you might fish a boot, or sash, or a fish....never know... soo amusing.

It took me about 5 weeks to GM fishing...I was fishing (Using a last object macro) along the bridges and shroes every day for at least 5 hours a day...and on the weekends I was fishing for about 12 hours a day. At 90 you can fish up everythign that you can get at GM, so I didn't really keep track of the time after 90....it might have taken longer then 5 weeks. Cooking is the real pain in the ass to GM.

Yeah fishing takes absoultly ages to gm. Cooking probably not as long - you just need to be dedicated enough to stick with it.

yep my fishing slow too, but im not rushed to gm it. just takin my time, whenever i have any free time i usually log into my fisher and just buy 2-4 fishing poles, fish until they break, keep the steaks in my house, sell the junk items for rent, since my necro useless atm.

Fishing and smithing are slow for sure,but I gm'd smithing in cove but I was on atleast 12 hours a day.I belive Garr gm'd fishing in 4 weeks but like me fished all day but once its done you want for nothing.

plus a good place to fish is on chaos and order isles, lots of water and no1 to bother you, then on chaos isle theres a gate that takes u to ice isle for even more fishing.

yeah excal i remember you playing that much..if if was on, you were, no exceptions. I still remember you getting pissed when that jimmy da fisher guy stole you 20 iron ore or so and everyone chased him...we though youwere amazing being an expert miner lol
