Parry is an invaluable skill both in pvp and pvm...hammerpicks are currently the best one-handed weapons at the moment, and Warhammers are good in comparison to BA's (elleb hits a ton with his vanqs).

Thassius is incorrect. Hammerpick, while nice, is not the best weapon in the game, all things considered. There are actually seven different weapons, that, when everything is considered, are the best. It is just a matter of presonal preference.

With the current reactive situation, hammerpick is the weapon I would consider the most powerful at the moment.
I've been hit by them more time than you have bro, rest assured.
There are plenty of one handed weapons, true, but I've seen my longsword and vik vanqs do 0 damage enough times to know that there is an issue there.

Yeah thats the problem with tanks and human mages. A new skill was added with what seems no thought on what it may force some players to do, ie lose vital skills.
I'd also say hammerpick is the best, but a good GM kryss id go for second best 1 handed.

I for one think that all the wepon types need to be looked into a bit...
they are not as equal in my eyes as i think they should be...
reactive is a major role.. it needs doinga way with if it cant be fixed..
if that was done.. things would be a bit more evend.. even after taht tho.. u have a few issues to look into.. hammer pick penetrates more than ba does..and can do more dmg.. that is a bit much for a 2 handed wep and one handed wep in comparison... on the same note.. ba misses alot... maces seem to have a much better hit rate.. not as much for the hammer pick but the war hammer is a sure hit...
i think the dmg on somethings that are considered one handed and two handed are a bit fuked
and lot of wepons are just bs... and have not been figured.. like for example.. the bigger wepons for swords and fencing.. mace.. the 2 weps thate is the biggest there are doing great... like a birdiche or halebeard for example.. there is faster sword weps that do more dmg.. so im not even gonna compare it to a mace that is same speed or faster that does more... i think all wepons could use a look into to fix things a bit.. thing is the RANGE of dmg to be done... some ranges on wepons are too big.. and when the random generated dmg is done.. it just messes it all up.. like some weps may have a 20-40 dmg ratio.. while others may have a 30-35 ratio.. the 30-35 will usually prevail.. the range on some weps.. are just too large... i just used examples but yea.. classes need work

Count, rest assured that if there are any staff members that know the weapon balance situation first hand, its me
I've discussed this with CV more than once, and he has said that the weapons need reworking across the board, not least because certain weapons don't do the damage that they should, and many are currently useless in combat.
Kudos for CV in recognising the need for addressing issues such as this. It will be looked into...
