And yes, you gotta repair them because when they say 'a bit worn' they hit for less damage and less often - vastly less effective in combat. For some reason no-one has mentioned that you can easily use the armslore skill on an item to check its repair status - simply use the skill via a macro or the blue gem next to the skill on ur skills pane, and then target the weapon/armour. |

Once a weapon is repaired it breaks down so quickly it's not even worth it. Trash away your vanq BAs, yes. |

repair is bullshit... armslore is bullshit.... wepons are bullshit... dont waste your time... repair on obsidian is about as worthless as a ruin cuttlass.... if it looks like its doin jack.. trash it like Mad said.. take it from me i know... there is no best time to repair and best time not to.. (well actually there is.... ) but armslore only showing warn, a bit warn, and very warn tells dick... as a mater of fact... how hard would it be to code armslre to show the CURRENT and TOTAL durability of a wep. or armour... thats whats needed.. other wise.. repair is useless... also with armour.. if ur looking for higher AR repair is definatly not the way to go.. each repair will drop it like mad... I personally have always had a problem with this... for the fact that on obsidian the good armour adn the really good wepons are hard to come by in since of money... and value.. which in the respect of what it is actually.. it should be cheep as dirt... all of it... wepons and armour need a major adjustment in the economy.. or in there durability one... also... it would be nice if u coudl somehow see when u click on a wepon for example without armslore i might add.... "+7 viking sword of power (durabilty 48/62) " thats the way i would do things.... may be a trick to code it.. may not.. but i do think it needs to be done.. and i dont think its a low priority thing.. cause its always been a pain... |

i agree with adam. it's really frustrating to buy a weap from a vendor and then watch it destroy in 2 hits. it's frustrating not to be able to repair your stuff - repair only makes it worst - armor gets lower ac, weapons get lower damage - and they all break like mad. |
