Ok if you're having trouble logging back in I suggest you delete the desktop folder found in your obsidian files. Then try to log in. Alt + enter simply maximises the screen. Pm me if that doesn't work and we can work on ways to get you back and running

there's another file that may cause problems. I'm not sure of the name and can't doublecheck. It's the file that contains various info about your client, such as the screen resolution, obscene word filter, etc. It should be named something like Settings.cfg, or Settings.txt, or UO.txt, or .cfg? Anyways, deleting that file (assuming UO auto-generates it if it is missing, which it should), or replacing it with a 'safe' one from just about any UO player should fix it.

But again, it's very difficult to help this guy since he has poor english and pays much more attention to swearing and being frustrated rather than fixing :)


A drastic fix would be to reinstall.

Managed to get him sorted on this one. Was a simple matter of resizing his resolution both ingame and out of game. Thanks for the advice madeline :)
Next time Dracula, put your hand up for help quicker than you slip your tounge out to insult with.

lol so true, this guy draculas a prick. Lol but the problem has been rectified,. Id like to thank everyone who helped me be here today. my manager, tristar pictures, everyone who helped me along the long road to success, and most of all id like to thank god for not making me download the whole friggin thing again... *cries with joy*

There is an old trick to fix any future display problems, hold down the ALT key and press F4 quickly.
