Its hard to have an opinion of Hamas as the ruling government of Palestine. Everyone said that the Fatah party were corrupt and never resolved any peace processes at all. Hamas will certainly force the hands of a few people which will probably bring more bloodshed unfortunately. Seems to me that stirring up religous hatred in Palestine is the easy answer for the terrorists. Using words and diplomacy requires effort, compromise and possibly acheiving something positive. The saddest part of all this is that it was what the majority of the Palestinians wanted when they voted for Hamas. Just goes to show that democracy is screwed up too when things like this happen. |
