So young yet pushing so hard.

I was always warned dont train too hard or you stunt your growth.

American mentality of beiiger is better, just doesnt seem to cut it with me. Each to their own, well done though on finding something you like,

Im happy with being my 5 foot 11 inches and 140lbs weight.

OK, my turn 8) 3 years in a Small-Circle Ju-Jitsu dojo beefed up (and bruised and strawberried me real good too heh) my stomach and arms a LOT and I never touched a weight. But then again...the 50 judo pushups and situps in the first 15 mins of class twice a week alone would probably do that hehe

The other guys in the dojo were big though... weightlifters who bounced in topless bars, etc... none of them were under 220 pounds and I was 150. Those guys have a big advantage grappling on the ground (anything goes unlike HS wrestling) as they can really just use that weight to their advantage on the ground. But... the quick skinny guys can slide out of binds quicker :)

In Judo Randori training (standing up trying to throw opponent) or sparring all of that changes... but most RealLife fights typically end up on the ground so it's good to know a little of both.

Heh-heh OK due to popular demand...

Judo pushup:

- Get in a normal push-up position, but move your feet up a little, putting your butt slightly in the air and your legs straight.

- Now instead of going straight down and back up.... as you go down bring your chin about 1 inch or less from the mat. (putting a lot of strain on the arms)

- With a scooping motion, as you push yourself up from this, your butt will drop. As your arms straighten... look towards the ceiling.

- That's one. Swing back into the starting position and dip again.

Judo situp:

- Lay flat on your back with your arms straight over your head.

- Keeping arms and legs straight, touch the tips of your fingers to the end of your toes... they should meet directly over the center of your body. Hold a sec, release back to mat... repeat.

We lift everyday and then either do a lot of sprints or do long distance. What sucks though is that when were lifting lower body they make us sprint so i get extremelly tired
Today were running about 3-5 miles, sucks for me
