every bad reaction has an even worst reaction so yeah.. i dunno why thassius doesnt do shit about the shit some of you guys post and he gets all sore when count says similar things. plus the noob said not to post untill everyone had their pictures in, then he breaks his own rule, so just keep on topic. If your fat be fine with it, or get on a diet. same with emos, most emos are pretty cool people just kinda different, and its getting kinda annoying to always pick on them, but then again ashes is an idiot to fatties, so dont say emos in general, just tell ashes to stfu and go paint his nails in a different color.

The 'Emo kid' video on youtube is ignorant, and I don't know anyone like that... I've liked 'Emo/Screamo' music for some time. In the UK the first 'Emo' kids were the real, genuine rocker types - like me and my college crew with our guitars. The first Emo fans I knew were not 12-15 year old skaters with nail varnish, as you seem to describe them. This kind of thing happened later as the music broke into the mainstream and became 'fashionable'.

Besides, bands like Finch or even Hundred Reasons were considered 'Emo' long before bands like Funeral for a Friend broke out, or even My Chemical Romance (as mentioned above).

Hundred Reasons - 1999/2000
(signed 2001)

Finch - 2001 (as Finch, after 'Numb'). I remember listening to the 'Falling into Place' EP for the first time in my mates car with a massive joint in hand.

Funeral for a Friend - 2002, Wales (I saw them at their first major gig opening at the Concrete Jungle tent at Reading festival 2003)

...makes me feel old.

The 'Emo' genre is extremely wide, and generally encompasses music with 'emotional' lyrical content/expressiveness, and powerful guitars/drums/bass.

So yeah, I've been an Emo fan since it really started as a defined musical genre, so if you're picking on Ashes you're picking on me.
