Yes, you are completely right there morbid. Having had a warrior character myself I fully understand the class, and I know how much a difference the 100 points can make.

Naturally I am not admin and thus the decision is not mine to make... however I was simply saying that (if races are not reintroduced) allowing human pure warriors to emulate the skill builds of their vampire counterparts would go along way to improve this balance.

This would have nothing to do with other human characters, or the other races. The idea was simply designed to allow humans to choose a higher skill cap in exchange for a 30 cap to magery; thus allowing them to create an effective, Vampire-esque pure warrior build. Needless to say, they would still be disadvantaged by the lack of a racial stone.

i just dont see how another half-fix is going to help when all you need is one portal and a little testing to make sure all is secure to re enable races altogether.

it would be easier to just bring them back. ONE PORTAL :)

we all know there is nothing major wrong with races that has not already been disabled. there are tons of us walking around everyday eh?

if you gonna ask the man for something ask him to let you bring our races back, we love this shard and we love its owner and we also love the races!

Reactive armour fishes have been disabled but the Blue protection ones still work, on a side note If you know how to use a Human warrior you should have no troubles, one of the best warriors on this shard was human and he never bitched - Ransom :D

:D you have no idea how happy it makes me to have someone being able to say what I (apparently) can't :roll: :D and I agree it would seem that all we really need is a portal.....I have seen the race room intact still.....

I agree with Drizzt 100%, if you are going to ask the man to do some work why not ask him to work on the problem at hand. I have always thought that old problems should be worked on b4 new features. It seems that with new features also come new bugs half the time and why create more problems b4 the old ones have been dealt with.

So? IF it was his choice, cookie for him... BUT I'd like to have the choice.

I'm just following the guidelines outlined in the Manual of Common Sense, and the Manual of Common Sense says that if there was nothing serious/complicated wrong with races, then they would've been fixed rather than disabled in the first place.

Naturally, my number one suggestion would be for them to be brought back as they were; but we have to consider why this hasn't happened yet and why they were removed initially.

All Drizzt has said (much as I love him in a non-gay way) is that it would be best if races are brought back. That's obvious :?

what drizzt mean i think is races are not disabled, never have been. If races were disabled then they would be like necros unusable. necros are the only race that is disabled/nerfed. All other races work just fine, u see vamps all the time, etc etc. The only change is that u dont get acces to race stone when u make char. race stone works everything works on it, it just is unreachable.

does anyone know for sure why races were "disabled" we all have heard that its balence issues..... but what does that mean? :?
