not exactly the same rules in #obsidian as here. outz is god in the irc server broadband is god here.

Sometimes it depends on the time of day but you can wait for hours even for a player to post any info on here. IRC tho sometimes you can help right away. I remember when i was training poisoning on azi's island, (yeah i know dumb move,) but i failed healing a cpl of times and died and was stuck. I paged but there was no staff on at the time, and i went into IRC and Regiss was there and he happened to have a rune there and came and rezzed. It was cool cuz I would have lost like 300 lesser poison pots if my corpse would have decayed and then i would have to mix them again. Regiss owns!!!!! :P

Just to bring this back on topic slightly:

To resurrect, simply find an ankh and double click it.
OR find a healer (all major towns have them) and run near them. If they fail to res you then just say 'res', or try running back and forth in war mode and not in war mode.

To the best of my knowledge, all dungeons have an ankh, and all islands that you can visit through the runecode chamber have an ankh.
