i dont know if i like the new one bob wrote with his son, only read a few chapters so far tho.

but the new transitions trilogy is kickass.

if you guys havent read the sellswords trilogy u missing out, entreri and jarlaxle are awesome.

war of the spider queen was great also. salvatore inspired but written by other authors.

spider queen is the goddess lolth and im pretty sure she didnt die in any drizzt series. maybe you thinking of old matron yvonnel baenre, head priestess of lolth and leader of house baenre, whom bruenor battlehammer killed in the mithril hall battle. drizzt slayed her powerful daughter quenthel.

but quenthel was ressurrected by lolth and became mistress of arach tinilith, mated with a demon or some shit and had a draegloth son. she is a main character in the war of the spider queen books. it is really good. as good as any of the drizzt series imo.

the hero if i remember was a drow warrior named rylld argith. he was the current master of melee magthere which is like the head male warrior, pretty much as high as a male drow can get besides the head male mage. drizzts dad zaknafein was a master of melee magthere.
