To apply the pot should require poisoning skill. The level of poison should depends on the type of pot used. If someone with 50 poisoning tried to poison a blade with a deadly pot he should get a message saying that his skill is not high enough to perform the action. I'd like to see the amount of time a blade is poisoned as a function of the skill that weapon is baised off of(swords, fencing, macing) or tactics. Something that normally only a warrior would have. To compensate, I'd like to see mages only have to use one NS to cast poison, regardless of the level they cast. In place of a time limit (witch could be buggy to code) I'd like to see the weapon poisoned for the entire life of the weapon, but the durability is drastically reduced, depending on the same criteria as the time limit. If the time is biased off the poison pot then there would be no limitation on other character builds using poison weapons. Mages already have 2 ways to poison and they are both triggered actions by the player (cast and pots). A poisoned weapon would not be a triggered action...it would be random. Warriors only have one triggered way to poison...with pots. A random action will not make up for the second triggered action that mages have, but it would be better then nothing. |

way it used to work was when you failed u poisoned yourself... btw those low level poisons are enough to kill a dragon and not die or take damage fighting it... dont be so hasty to think that even if its just "ill" or a "little ill" that you cant kill something if you have patients.... either way the old system was buggy not to say the new one isnt either (i dunno) but either way... nnyeh |
