how about a way to change gear faster while in a fight. i also dont like the blacksmith gump....its very.......un-user-friendly. the modern smithing gump is good, because it has "make last" so you dont have to keep using the hammer, click the ore....the item type....the item class....then the actual item you want to make. |

i only use uoloop for thiungs where you have to mash the same key over and over. For other things i use EasyUO. |

easyuo sounds like it would be nice, but is it allowed? uoloop i can see wouldnt pose as a problem....i use it for stupid tasks (anat training). i dont want to be banned just like the devs dont want to lose players. need a recruitment scheme btw......gotta be a way to get new players etc to get off the crappy shards. i think the only issue would be that of not being able to use razor since it just doesnt work with the obs client, and people just have to have it. ill check out easyuo though...hopefully its as simplistic as razor is. |

easy uo isnt as simple as razor, you have to script things and GL finding he right version for obsi, it is out there tho |

it also gives off a really distinct signature on login that puts a nice shiny asterisk by your account name whenever you're logged in using any of the 3 handle-grabbing macro utilities. Same way that people who don't use the patcher get a nice shiny carat next to their name. Remember the rules guys. Because i'm not going to be lenient forever. And we're not running recruitment schemes because we aren't actively recruiting right now. We want the shard to be near 95% before we recruit people. You only get one chance to make a first impression. |

I don't think EasyUO has ever been against the rules. I can remember a dscussion on it a long time ago where BB himself said it was allowed but im too lazy to backtrack and look for it. |

They are to a point. A lot of people are using them in breach of that point. The minute you use them to gain an advantage, they become illegal. That includes certain types of very intricate macros. Along with a lot of pvp oriented help or pvm oriented help. I won't go into much more, but the people who are doing it know who they are. |

i understand this completely but most players that i have come across, myself included, use really simple scripts that only really serve to cut out a lot of dbl clicking all over the screen for example making pots, smithing etc. |

yes thats what i use mine for, even tho i cant get easy uo to work lol... but ya i would think macros that execute more then one command wouldn't offer lots of computability so i would think it wouldn't be a very big advantage in pvp lol |

thats all i ever used razor for, the annoying double clicking on tiny items in the sack (especially smith hammer, knife, scissors). that and some targeting help....since razor had better compatibility with logitech mice etc so you could assign mouse buttons to lets say.....last target etc. and the ability to change weapons by hitting a key....eliminating dragging and dropping.......well that helped a lot. easyuo seems a bit too......as you said intricate.....and too easy to make scripts to do ALL of the work for you. razor had its limitations and the author even said it was meant to be that way. one shard i played on had a custom ".quip" command so you could switch equipment easier by saying .quip1 .quip2 etc. this of course was more helpful when dealing with slayer weapons etc when you had different mob types you were fighting....or wanted to go with a shank for spell disruption instead of a slow bardiche vs a mage......where time was very short. oh......and why in vesper near the bank am i always spammed with "you feel a tingling sensation". |
