I still remember the night Broadband made the decision to take the shard down, we spent the entire night talking about it over a bottle of vodka in his new house. At first I was trying to save the shard, and give Broadband hope in his players, but when I went into the message boards with him, I realized almost all of the posts where negative, and mainly directed at Broadband himself. It was the peak of activity on Obsidian at the time, but no one was grateful, and there was nothing but selfishness abounding through the game. I turned around, and told Broadband to just take it down and walk away he had better things to do at the time, and this wasn't something that should be important in his life.
I'm glad he was able to walk away from Obsidian then, and I hope he never has to choose to rid himself of the stress of hosting this shard again.

This totally rocks!
and the best thing about Obsidian?
I shall never have to upgrade my computer again!
(much to the relief of my wife)
I hope it'll see it's 10th and beyond!

This guy is obviously better than us so lets bow to his superiority and eternal wisdom with respect to everyone on this forum..
If he is Mr Living Large with his fantastic life that we have no concept of, how the hell did he find his way to the forum of a reasonably obscure Ultima Online Shard?
I can gladly say that I'm better than him. In so many ways. Its really obvious from reading his post.....how sad he must feel...
