That is plain foolish. The shard hasn't lost any good players because of strict staff - we are much more lenient at the moment than we should be in comparison to what I remember as a player.
The only players that recieve strong staff action are those that deserve it, and this will continue to be the case. Anyone that we have 'made' leave will have had a detrimental effect on the shard which we refused to tolerate.
At the end of the day, all we are trying to do is keep Obsidian fun and balanced. While some people like to think they can do what they want, this is not the case just as it isn't in real life. It only takes a little maturity to realise this rather than attack staff and blame us for things needlessly.
I'm not saying that staff are going to go on a crusade and delete every 'novelty' item or house in the game. I'm simply saying that corrupt GMs have left an unfortunate legacy of objects in obsidian - from specially placed/decorated houses to newbified reagent bags etc. This is a far-reaching problem, and the blame should go to the dishonest staff that created it in the first place - rather than those having to clean it up.
The dilemna is where to start removing these items/houses and where to stop - I don't think this house is doing any harm, but technically it is placed illegally so I cannot say whether it will stay or not. That is up to a GM.

You think what i said is foolish. I dont care if you think i'm wrong. But I'm confident of what i'm saying. I have asked a lot of good players and pvpers why they left and the majority of them give me the same answer.

Impe just gave a very good point, if his llama was deleted which he got from BB himself so why someone else should be in any higher favor?

Prehapes the llama was taken away for good reason?
a llama is quite different from a marble house.
And if you think otherwise, why not have talked to bb about the matter.

I get Impe's point but a house is very different than a colored llama. A colored Llama would cause concern. 100% of new people including me wouldn't know this is illegal. I just thought it was a well decorated house on water.
I don't think it should be deleted hardly anyone would see it hardly anyone will get jealous off little shit like this and hardly anyone cares. It's up to gms if they want to delete it but If the house been there that long and Gms been around as long as the house wouldn't that say something about that marble house. Plus it isn't fair to the owner of that house to just delete it.

A llama......a house......
get a......life?
So someone has a cool looking llama - there's no reason to get jealous over it and the same deal with a house. However if people wish to remove items deemed illegal - they should not single out one or even a few players, it should be everyone who gets the same treatment.
I'd hate for 1 player to be targeted for jail everytime he does something illegal where as another player gets off.
But...and here's the but and I'd like everyone who reads this thread to read this:
"Not every problem/bug/bug abuse can be delt with at the same time. Let's try and notify staff of these problems and let them be the ones to decide, because at the end of the day it is their shoulders that the decision falls upon."
Everything in life isn't clean cut, and guess what - that's the case in this situation. I can't offer any recommendations because I'm not the one in charge, and even if I don't agree on the final decision by staff - I will respect it.
