Cool video, but I feel I need to interject here because it was VERY misleading. Pretty much what that video was doing is comparing the # of total characters in the world that exist against how many players are currently online. If that exact same video was done when the server had 100 players online the contrast would be just as extreme. As far as coding for the shard is concerned I manage very well but unfortunately my time is very much divided when it comes to running this server. First I had to spend a good week getting the server rock stable again. After that I could have be coming up with new skills or new quests at this very moment, but unfortunately you guys weren't happy with the player numbers so I've been focusing my time 100% to advertising this shard. Perhaps if you guys really hankered down and started burning CDs with the installer, putting up flyers, posting links in message boards, etc then the shard could continue to grow while I focus solely on the other areas. I know you guys all have tons of friends who have never tried Obsidian or did play and since quit. What's stopping you from bringing them back? We currently have 3000 accounts and only 180-200 have logged in so far this month. |
