Things aren't in a situation everyone agrees with - and i totally understand that. What i think some of you aren't understanding is that it's not a job for Broadband but a pastime. I'll try and do a story like Scarlet did (nice job btw lol).

Johnny loved to play the drums, he'd wake up early and play, he'd go to bed late after playing. He'd go over to his friend's place to play, and he'd play at school. After playing the drums for quite some years, Johnny still loved it but now he needed time for other things like girls, jobs, social commitments and other pastimes.

So when he had his dad getting angry at him because Johnny wasn't doing as well as he could on the drums anymore, it didn't encourage Johnny to do better but instead do worse. But when his dad stopped getting angry at Johnny to play drums and instead took up playing himself. Johnny could see all the fun he was missing and start to play again.

Time is a constraint for Johnny these days, not like it was back when he started playing drums, and while he still loves playing he won't have as much time as he used to for them. Yet Johnny still continues to play the drums to this day.

Drums = obsidian
Johnny = Broadband
Dad = the players

No amount of yelling is going to make the game fun for Broadband or make him want to fix anything. Instead enjoy the game that is already there. I've been here for 3ish years and i'm still enjoying the same game. Some of you might need something new to stay with the game so why not give me some ideas in the meantime on how i can make the game fun for you short of bug fixes and the like. Let's be on a positive note rather than bickering because i know most of you get along (when you're not too busy killing each other ingame).

What i said is if i posted saying "staff stfu" id be banned. I just think it could of been abit nicer what thass said rather than just telling ppl to STFU.

Aimee you've completely missed the point - if you remember at the time this picture was made, both players and staff found it funny. It wasn't intended as serious - I think that should be pretty obvious.

While Echo's comments about Broadband and the state of the shard are diplomatic and correct, my post was nothing to do with that.

What I do take exception to, however, is the constant need by some of our players to de-rail every single thread into yet another bickering flamewar. This in itself has caused myself, the rest of the staff, and indeed the rest of the playerbase much frustration over the years.

So, perhaps I should be more specific -to those of you who decided to conduct your arguments on the forums once more.

Staff says STFU.

If this behaviour continues then unfortunately we will once again have to resort to forum suspensions. At the end of the day, if you have nothing nice to say - don't say anything. The staff response to negativity will not be a favourable one.

And no, if you stood up and told people bickering like children to STFU for the benefit of the rest of us - you wouldnt be banned.
