anyway wat i am sayin is that ive had my smith for a month using on a daily basis and my blacksmithing is still only 53 so when you are crafting will differnt parts of armor raise your skill more? i.e. platemail breastplate will get you faster gains then a chainmail coif |

Yeah, they use the least amount of ingots (4), though people have these stigmas and recipes for success that say to smith daggers up to 80 skill, then maces the rest of the way  I s'pose on my way up, I'll give it a try

oh.. incase you didnt know. after dagger made you can also melt it. you get not only 1 ingot back but smith skill on the melt aswell and i did daggers all the way 100%, was that a silly thing to do :O |

i did daggers all the way up as well..the thing with the maces is that supposedly they give you more chances to gain. however if you do them before you get to lik 75 then you fail to often for it to be useful. |

BR is old Rose is much newer plus its just how many times the mine is used really and the whole 30 mining deal if im not mistaken really cant be totally fixed since this is an older version of UO might be wrong but even with all the patches and what not nothing in this version is completely fixable just find mines that no one uses mines that have a buncha houses around them are def gonna have shitty rates. maybe i just got lucky that day but i dunno i like to think its because i had runes to 3 mines that were pretty much never touched or if they were touched it was because someone had to much free time and felt a bit horny... and it looked like a 13 year old boy... and i need a cigarette now bye |
